Mask mandates are the wrong approach to solving Covid-19
Scientifically and fundamentally wrong
I was going to go through each study available on this subject but Tom Elliott has already done that, so make sure to read 19 Reasons Kids Shouldn’t Be Wearing Masks.
Facts on censorship: here’s what happened when I typed the above article into Google for fun.
If you aren’t already aware, Google, Facebook, YouTube and Canadian media are highly censored. So is US media, yet it is easier to find hints that all is not as it should be. For example, Seattle’s KOMO News recently reported on Covid-19 vaccine injury.
Since Tom Elliott’s article hands you the science on the cons of mask-wearing, I want to go into the philosophy of it.
Where masking came from
The Western world has two major pre-pandemic associations with covering the face, which are China and the Arab countries. Both are societies that reject the Bible-based and U.S. Constitutionally-backed truth that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. Both societies treat individuals as dispensable for the good of the state.
Arabia
The Arabs have been covering the mouths of their women since ancient times. The Arabs “discovered that forcing people to cover their nose and mouths, [sic] broke their will and individuality, [sic] and depersonalized them. It made them submissive. That’s why they imposed on every woman the mandatory use of a fabric over her face” (“Don Payson - 2300 years ago, long before Islam … - Facebook”, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, broken link, August 23, 2020). What has been the working-out of such a low view of humanity? Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia are notorious for crimes against humanity such as honor killings, kidnappings and suicide bombings, along with a deep hatred for America and the freedoms it purveys.
China
Pictures of masked people going about their daily business in China became normal to see in the early 2000s. It didn’t make sense to me as an American adolescent, but I’d associated it with high population density and an assumption that they had uncontrolled disease over there, such as Tuberculosis.
But I was wrong. China has a long history of dehumanizing people, which manifested itself in the establishment of the People’s Republic of China under Mao Zedong. The evils associated with Mao weren’t relegated to the 20th century, because China is still putting minorities in concentration camps, steamrolling ideologies near its shores to which it is diametrically opposed (see also), and engaging in biological terrorism. I see no difference between this behavior and that of Nazi Germany.
The masking in China is another method to control the masses with fear. The mask removes the individuality of a person (especially when they largely have the same color eyes and hair), deprives them of emotion and stifles communication. China has no use for the individual, which it has proven by aborting approximately 200 million girls under its One Child policy. Forty million lives were discarded under Mao Zedong’s regime. Only a government with such disdain for individuals would conceive the idea of covering the faces of its people en masse.
When underlying ideologies are in utter opposition to American and Canadian blood-bought liberties, we should not adopt the practices associated with them lightly.
Moral problems with mask-wearing
“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.” Genesis 1:27
Whether you retain a respect for the Christianity that America was founded upon, or you’re a believer in the inerrancy of scripture written as from the hand of God himself, it’s inarguable that this verse gives the individual a dignity far above that which China or Arabia ever granted a human life.
Any image that I can conjure up associated with the unwilling covering of the face speaks of bondage, shame, death and Satan. Personally, I think the latter laughs at Christians gathered to the name of the Lord Jesus on Sunday mornings with their faces covered, prayers stifled and hymns muffled.

Mask mandates within churches cause a backlog of problems. One problem is showing favoritism to those who are masked, vaxxed and boosted. What happens when one is told they have to go against their conscience if they want to be with their church? James 2 commands us not to show favoritism toward certain classes of people because there is no partiality with God. It should unnerve everyone when vaccination is required to attend church.
Another problem that has happened is that when only a few stand up against these kind of mandates, there is a predisposition to disbelieving their reasons against wearing masks. Because society has been conditioned to write these people off as “anti-vaxxers” (regardless of their opinions on vaccines), personal health concerns regarding mask use aren’t taken seriously. I know a 65-year-old man in the USA, that never misses a meeting, who said he couldn’t stay awake in church meetings when he was wearing a mask. Do you think he might have been experiencing low blood oxygen levels? I think that’s a logically clear correlation. I know a woman who experiences headaches, light-headedness and dizziness from wearing a mask in church. Personally, I experience impeded lung function just from wearing tights and having a child lying on my chest in church. I am not interested in adding a mask to that equation because it will leave me short of breath, and oxygen deprivation suppresses immunity.
Yet another problem is the irony of “having a good testimony”. I am sure there are churches in China that have a great testimony to the Chinese government, using only the government-edited Chinese Bible and only practicing what the government sanctions. Great testimony to government officials, but pretty poor testimony toward God, the One for whom the church exists. Some would argue that following mandates provide a good testimony for the church, but I ask, a good testimony to whom? Neighbors who prefer masking? Neighbors who are against masking? Since each “side” could argue the merits of their testimony, I deem both to be bad arguments.
Finally, mass compliance of a visible mandate like masking opens the door to snap judgments on others. For some, wearing a mask is a virtue signal that they are spiritual enough to follow mandates despite the inconvenience. For others, wearing a mask means condoning a lie and infringement on blood-bought liberties. Such people might feel compelled to honor the sacrifices of their forefathers and

A word on exemptions
Masking exemptions are being withheld in Saskatchewan. I know a family who sought an exemption for their son due to his eczema from mask-wearing. The doctor told them he was not allowed by the Health Region to give them an exemption. Instead he prescribed antihistamines to treat the problem the mask was causing. This is illogical.
Why isn’t Canada admitting that masks don’t work?
They did on December 18th in this Global News article, but put a spin on it to try to keep masking up. Ask yourself if anything less than a properly sealed N95 mask would make any difference whatsoever (and check the studies in Tom Elliott’s article) and if the entire country should comply with that level of masking for no statistical difference in transmission.
If masks don’t work, will I die of omicron?
Highly unlikely. The virus is getting milder and more contagious, as viruses do. If you are worried about your chances in the screwed-up medical system, you can follow the protocol of treatment and prevention developed by some of the most informed doctors, scientists and virologists in the world. These are people with nothing to gain for standing up against drug companies and governments in cahoots with drug companies, so I find their points of view well worth looking into.

Just in case you don't know: The Weston A Price Foundation thinks Covid is caused by 5G radiation. Dr. Robert O. Young, DSc, MSc, MD, PhD (he regularly changes around which combination of degrees he uses in his posts, for some reason unknown to me and rarely uses all of them at the same time) says viruses do not exist, except as a set of symptoms within the body. Because this seems to parallel what the WAPF says, I believe he is correct. IMO the virus/vax scam is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on humanity and big pharma, for years already, has been laughing all the way to the bank.
